Bashkortostan presentation will be held at International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg

UFA, 9 November 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The 7th International Cultural Forum will be held in St. Petersburg from November 14 to 17. Within its framework, a presentation of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the upcoming large-scale cultural event - the 6th World Folklore Festival will take place.

The National Orchestra of National Instruments RB will perform at the forum under the leadership of the winner of international and All-Russian competitions Linar Davletbaev.

According to the press service of the Philharmonic Society, the orchestra will present a special modern national program, which will be opened by the Bashkir folk tune "Ural". Leading soloists of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society - laureates of international and republican competitions Marcel Kutuev (vocals) and Yevgeny Chugayev (dumbyra) will perform together with the orchestra.

The presentation of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be held at the Main Headquarters Building of the Hermitage, on November 15 at 6 pm.

The objectives of the project are to familiarize the guests of the forum with one of the leading regions of the country, to promote the image of the republic as a subject with great cultural and infrastructural potential for holding international events.
