Children's project of Vladimir Spivakov Foundation in Bashkortostan received federal grant

A large-scale charitable project “Children for Children: Music of Our Hearts” is launched in Bashkiria. The project includes performances of young musicians in orphanages and children's hospitals of the republic, concerts in community centres and cultural institutions, as well as master classes from renowned teachers.

The organizer of the project is the Vladimir Spivakov Charitable Foundation for Promotion of Talents Development and Professional Skills of Youth in the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The first visiting events will begin in January-February 2019 with concerts in the cities of Blagoveshchensk, Birsk, Sterlitamak, Salavat, and Ishimbay. The project will last the whole year and will end with a bright gala concert in Ufa, where all participants will gather.

“Our project is aimed at supporting children in difficult life situations, disabled children, orphans,” says the director of the foundation, Artur Naziullin. “The scholars of the foundation, invited artists, teachers, laureates of national and international competitions will take part in the concerts.”

The 20 students of the foundation are talented children and teenagers from 11 to 18 years old, students of music colleges and children's music schools in Ufa and other cities of the republic. Project activities will cover not only districts and cities of the republic, but also neighboring regions - the cities of Magnitogorsk, the Chelyabinsk Region, and Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan.

The entrance to all concerts and workshops will be free. The project “Children to Children: Music of our Hearts” received federal support. The size of the presidential grant is 5.5 million rubles.
