Ildar Abdrazakov took part in "Attila" opera shooting

UFA, 2 November 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. Ildar Abdrazakov took part in the filming of the footage for the "Attila" opera premiere. The shooting took place in Italy, not far from Milan, the official page of the singer reports.

Just after a very successful solo concert of the singer and recording of a CD in Canada, Ildar plunged into a new opera project. The legendary Milan Theater La Scala will open the season 2018/2019 in December with a new production of this particular Verdi's composition. Ildar Abdrazakov will play the leading part.

The "Attila" opera will appear next year in the repertoire of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater. Staging is scheduled for April 2019. This performance will be Ildar Abdrazakov's director debut. The singer himself will also perform the leading part in the performance.

The "Attila" is a patriotic opera in three acts. A struggle of the peoples living on the Adriatic coast against the invaders, based on the “Attila, King of the Huns” play by the German playwright Zacharias Werner is at the heart of the opera. It was written by Giuseppe Verdi in 1846.
