Bashkortostan delegation takes part in "Art Unites" festival in Germany

UFA, 24 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The International Festival “Art Unites. The Republic of Bashkortostan - the Kingdom of the Netherlands - Germany ”, continues in Germany. The third stage takes place from October 22 to November 2.
Festival events will take place in the cities of Germany: Halle, Dresden, Esslingen, Ostfildern, Uberlingen. The program includes presentations, theater meetings, exhibitions of folk art and Bashkir cuisine, Russian-German theater evenings, master classes, seminars, and roundtables. The project participants will meet with long-term cooperation partners from Saxony-Anhalt, Saxony, and Baden-Württemberg of the Federal Republic of Germany.
On October 23, on the opening day of the festival, a roundtable entitled “Dialogue for the Future: Cultural Cooperation within the Partnership Project of the Ufa-Halle Cities Project” is scheduled to take place at the City Hall. In the evening, in the concert hall of Ulrichskirche in the city of Halle, a musical and theatrical performance based on the story by A.S. Pushkin "Snowstorm" with the participation of artists of the Russian Drama Theater, musicians of the Ufa State Institute of Arts, as well as Dutch musicians Albert Adams and Marike Stordiau. In the foyer of the concert hall, an exhibition of folk art will be displayed along with an exhibition of Bashkir national cuisine.
On October 24, the festival will continue in the capital of Saxony. Musical and theatrical performance based on the story by A.S. Pushkin "Snowstorm" in conjunction with exhibitions will be presented in the theater in the old ruins of the Church of St. Paul. Our compatriots, representatives of the German-Russian Institute of Culture Dresden are invited to the performance.
A meeting will be held at the House of Youth on October 25. A roundtable "Dialogue in the Name of the Future" with the participation of members of the Bashkir delegation and the society "Friends of Bashkortostan" will take place.
On October 27, the Bashkir delegation will continue its tour to Baden-Württemberg. The Stuttgart State Institute of Music and Performing Arts will host master classes by professors Annegret Muller and Hans-Peter Stenzl. At the end of the master classes, a roundtable is scheduled in the Senate Hall of the University.
On October 28, a performance of a three-national composition will take place on the stage of the State Theater of Esslingen. "The Snowstorm" will be presented to the residents and guests of the city.
On October 29, members of the Bashkir delegation of the inclusive theater will familiarize themselves with the activities of the medical and labor workshops of Esslingen and take part in a joint rehearsal of the inclusive theater “Di Rapoden”. On the same day, a reception is scheduled in the city hall of Stuttgart, as well as in the Government of Baden-Württemberg.
On October 30, in the town of Ostfildern, in the suburb of Stuttgart, a Russian-German theatrical party will be held with the participation of Bashkir delegations.
The festival is organized by the Assembly of Peoples of the Republic of Bashkortostan as part of a grant from the President of the Russian Federation with the support of the Halle city administration, as well as members of the Friendship Society of Bashkortostan and residents of Halle Elizabeth Lindauer and Ingrid Stude.
The third stage of the project is the continuation of cooperation within the framework of the project “Professional Competencies in a European Context”. The initiator of this project in 2008 was the Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan for UNESCO. In 2013, the project was successfully presented at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris during the Presentation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
