All-Russian festival of narrators will be held in Ufa under UNESCO auspices

On October 25-26, in the framework of preparations for the World Folklore Festival - 2020, the All-Russian festival of sesens - narrators will be held in Ufa. The event is held under the auspices of UNESCO, within the framework of the federal target programs "Culture of Russia", "Strengthening the unity of the Russian nation and the ethnic and cultural development of the peoples of Russia", and for the Grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Culture RB reports.

The festival will be attended by narrators from Bashkortostan, Komi, Dagestan, Sakha (Yakutia), Buryatia, Mari El, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Moscow, and Magnitogorsk.

In addition to the competition itself, an exhibition of national jewelry, musical instruments is scheduled; interactive show "Open Yurt" with the participation of scientists of the republic, folklorists, researchers of the epics of the world of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, etc. will be held.

On October 26, M. Nesterov Bashkir State Museum of Arts will host the International Scientific Conference on the theme: "Mukhametsha Burangulov - sesen, playwright, public figure", dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of folklorist.

The festival will be closed with a gala concert and awarding of the festival participants.
