Rustem Khamitov signed decree awarding 2018 Salavat Yulaev Prize

UFA, 10 October 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov signed a decree awarding the State Prizes of the Republic of Bashkortostan named after Salavat Yulaev in the field of literature, art, and architecture in 2018.

This year the winners of the award are:

- Salavat Abuzarov, the writer, editor of the prose section of the literary-artistic and journalistic magazine “Agidel” for the book of poems “The Book of Deeds”;

- Leila Ismagilova, the composer, head of the composition department of the Ufa State Institute of Arts named after Z. Ismagilov, and Andrei Petrov, the art director - chief ballet master of the Kremlin Ballet Theater of the State Kremlin Palace for the ballet Arkaim;

- Rifkhat Arslanov, the artist, professor at the Ufa State Institute of Arts named after Z. Ismagilov, for the creative project in the field of visual arts.

Recall that the State Prize of the Republic of Bashkortostan named after Salavat Yulaev was established in 1967 and is awarded for the best works and art pieces in the field of literature, art and architecture included in the golden fund of the artistic culture of Bashkortostan. The prize is awarded once every two years. For more than 50-year history of the award, 140 people and one creative team have become its winners. Among them are writers and poets Mustai Karim, Zainab Biisheva, Bayazit Bikbay, Sagit Agish, composers Zagir Ismagilov, Nariman Sabitov, artists Alexander Tyulkin, Boris Domashnikov, Ahmat Lutfullin, as well as the folk dance ensemble named after Fayzi Gaskarov and many others.
