Bashkir Ballet starts tour in Perm

UFA, 28 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. From September 27 to 29, a tour of the ballet troupe of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater will take place at the P.I. Tchaikovsky Perm State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.

The tour will be held within the framework of the interregional program "Big Tours" with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Larisa Sakaeva, the theater PR manager reports.

The Bashkir theater will present three performances to the Perm audience: Aram Khachaturian's Spartacus and Arif Melikov's Legend of Love directed by Yuri Grigorovich and Anuta by Valery Gavrilin staged by Vladimir Vasilyev. The tour will be opened on September 27 with the "Spartacus" ballet, which became the sixth staging of the legendary choreographer on the Ufa stage. Before that, there were "Vain Precaution", "Don Quixote", "The Nutcracker", "Swan Lake" and "Corsair".

The Ufa "Anuta" will continue touring in Perm, the premiere of which opened the 20th International Festival of Ballet Art named after Rudolf Nureyev in 2015.

The Bashkir theater will finish the tour with the ballet "The Legend of Love" on September 29. This is the seventh production by Yuri Grigorovich at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater.

All three performances selected for the "Big Tour" program can fully demonstrate the high level of the ballet company of the Bashkir theater.
