Felt craftsmen created panel for Bashkir yurt interior decoration in Bashkiria

UFA, 20 September 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. In Bashkiria, felt craftsmen created a project of the festive interior decoration of the Bashkir yurt from seven panels depicting kurai (folk musical instrument) (170 x 140 cm).

The project was realized by participants of the Tamga Art Felt Symposium (Kuray project), which took place in June 2018 in the Burzyan district of Bashkortostan. On September 21, the "Ural" gallery will feature an exhibition of works created within the framework of the project.

It is assumed that the panel will decorate the yurt, where folk music, epics will be performed, folk poets will compete, kurai and kubyz will sound. Among the participants are Rezeda Shagieva and Olga Serebrennikova from Ufa, Gulfiya Valitova from Zianchurino district, Alexander Matveyev from Iglino village and other famous felt craftsmen.

Also, artists from the cities of Ufa, Oktyabrsky, Uchaly, Neftekamsk, Agidel, Sibai, and Kushnarenkovo, Dyurtyuli, Baimak, and Burzyan districts took part in this work.
