French writer-traveler Cedric Gras will meet with Ufa townspeople

A meeting with a writer-traveler from France Cedric Gras will take place in the second building of the A.-Z. Validi National Library on September 10. The meeting is organized within the framework of the Year of Russian-French Cooperation in the Sphere of Language and Literature.

Cedric Gras is an author of the books "Vladivostok. Snow and Monsoons ", "The North is the East. On the Edge of Russia", "Anthracite", "Sea of Cosmonauts", "Winter is Close".

The first book of the writer dedicated to Vladivostok was published by the French publishing house Phébus in 2011.

The enthusiastic alpinist and graduate of the geography department at the University of Paris VII, the young French writer, geographer and traveler Cedric Gras very early began to conquer the peaks - the Alps, the Caucasus, the Himalayas. He visited almost forty countries - Mongolia, Tibet, Nepal, Chile and Peru. As the traveler says, for some reason, he suddenly felt himself at home in Russia.

Cedric Gras, in addition to his hobbies and professional work, was the director of Alliance Française first in Vladivostok, and then in Donetsk.
