"Aitugan" dance ensemble represents Bashkortostan at international festivals in Spain and Portugal

In Spain, the team participates in the 32nd International Festival of Culture, which takes place from August 1 to 16. Countries participating in the festival include Russia, Mexico, Georgia, Peru, Panama, Senegal, Argentina, Paraguay, and Serbia.

Now the artists are in Caceres, the capital of the Estramadura region in the west of Spain. Further, the ensemble will go to Portugal, to the city of Faro.

"The "Aitugan" is the leader and favorite of the festival. Local organizers and the public note its good choreography, they like our dances and music. Vener Saifutdinov performs the "Ural", "Buranbai" melodies on the kurai musical instrument, the orchestra plays a potpourri from Bashkir melodies", said the choreographer Ilshat Galimzyanov. "We represent Bashkortostan at the festival as a region of Russia, we go to parades with our national flag. Our youth adequately represents the national creativity of our republic. "

This year four amateur folk dance ensembles have departed from Bashkortostan for international festivals: "Aitugan" to Spain and Portugal, "Bairam" from UMPO to Spain, "Dustar" to Hungary, the ensemble from R. Garipov’s Bashkir Republican Gymnasium - to Italy.
