Bashkir TV journalists and radio presenters will tell citizens about digital TV

UFA, 7 August 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. The digital terrestrial signal continues to spread over our region. Today more than 90% of the population of the republic already has digital TV. Even in the most remote villages, people can watch now 20 digital channels in HD-quality. Among them, there are programs of State TV and Radio Company "Bashkortostan" in the Russian and Bashkir languages. The TV channel can be not only watched in digital format (Russia-1, Russia-24), but also be listened (radio "Mayak", radio "Vesti FM", "Radio Rossii").

216 modern transmission centers installed throughout the republic transfers a digital signal to each house. Televisions of the latest generation receive it without difficulty. The older generation sets require an additional set-top box.

Bashkortostan enters very fast the era of digital television. Since the end of 2017, more than four million people have connected to the first multiplex with 10 channels. Until the end of this year, all residents will be available to watch the second multiplex - and this is 20 free digital channels.

The first presentation of free high-quality television possibilities will be seen by residents of the Mesyagutovo village, Duvan district. On Thursday, August 9, the digital TV crew will arrive here, and with including well-known presenters Aigul Kantukova and Firdat Galiev. A festive event with the participation of local artists will be filmed by the State TV and Radio Company "Bashkortostan", the press-secretary of the branch of the "Bashkortostan" TV Gulnaz Iskhakova informs.
