Ildar Abdrazakov prepares for premiere at Salzburg Festival

Ildar Abdrazakov, the opera star, the bass is preparing for the premiere of the opera-buffa "The Italian in Algeria" (L'italiana in Algeri) by G. Rossini at the most recognized world opera festival in Salzburg. He will perform a part of Mustafa in the play.

"The Italian in Algeria" opera will be held in the interpretation by the directors Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier, who put it especially for Cecilia Bartoli - one of the most famous and successful opera singers in the world. She will appear as Isabella. The party of Taddeo will be performed by the outstanding Italian opera baritone Alessandro Corbelli.

The premiere of "The Italian in Algeria" is scheduled for August 8, 11, 14, 16, 19. All tickets to the performances have been sold out long ago, belcanto.ru reports.
