Hungarian photo artist will present at Ufa exhibition archaeological expedition photos taken in Bashkortostan

UFA, 6 July 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. On Sunday, July 8, an exhibition of the Hungarian photo artist Solloshi Matjash from Budapest will open in Ufa. It will feature pictures taken during the Bashkir-Hungarian archeological expedition.
The exhibition will open at 10.00 in the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan at: Sovetskaya Street, 14.
The next international Bashkir-Hungarian scientific expedition will continue to operate in the territory of Bashkortostan, from July 7 to July 15. Hungarian archaeologists together with their colleagues from the Institute of Ethnological Research Ufa Federal Research Center RAS ​​will participate in the excavations of the Bustanayevsky archaeological complex in the Burayevo district of the republic.
For seven years, a group of scientists from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Catholic University of Peter Pazman under the guidance of Professor Atilla Türk has been conducting research in the Southern Urals as part of the international archeological expedition "Uelgi". The purpose of the expedition is to study the theory of the probable finding of the ancestral homeland of Hungarians in the Urals and modern Bashkiria.
