Shulgan-Tash Cave gathers again world scientists in Bashkortostan

On June 21-24, the 4th International Symposium "Turning into Museums of Historical and Cultural Heritage: Theory and Practice" will be held in the Burzyn region of Bashkortostan in the Murat-Tugai district.

The event is devoted to topical issues of preservation and popularization of the unique cultural heritage site, the ancient rock painting of Shulgan-Tash Cave.

The symposium will be attended by the Vice-President of the International Committee for the Protection of Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), U.I. Avrutov, the head of the Center of Palaeo-Art of the Institute of Archeology of the Russian Academy of Sciences E.G. Davlet, the head of the national prehistoric center, the Ministry of Culture and Communications of France Genevieve Penson and the restorer, expert in the conservation of rock art Eudald Guillamet (Andorra la Vella, Principality of Andorra) and other leading foreign and Russian scientists and experts.
