2nd Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition will be held in Ufa

UFA, 30 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. On September 17-21, the Second Vladimir Spivakov International Violin Competition will be held at the "Bashkortostan" State Concert Hall.
Winners of the competition will receive instruments by outstanding violin makers: Riccardo Antoniazzi (Milan, 1912), Jules Grandjon (Paris, 1848) and Igor Ulitsky (Moscow, 2017), as well as other prizes.
The Organizing Committee of the competition accepts applications from performers. Musicians from all over the world aged 15 to 26 are allowed to participate. Applications are accepted for consideration until July 20, 2018, inclusive.
The performance of the participants is assessed by an international jury. The chairman of the jury is Professor Mikhail Kopelman.
A grant from the head of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the amount of 4.5 million rubles was allocated for creative meetings with Vladimir Spivakov in 2018.
The largest festival of violinists, which is held in our city since 2016, contributes to the musical art development of the republic, and is a culmination of the competition among musicians from different countries.
Within four competitive days, Ufa becomes the capital of European violin performing art. Viewers from all over the world will be able to watch the birth of new stars in online broadcasts.
