Zugura Rakhmatullina: "The Poles of Bashkortostan together with other peoples are creating multinational history of our republic"

UFA, 11 May 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. The Days of Polish Culture dedicated to the Year of the Family in the republic and the 220th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz were opened in Ufa. The Chairman of the Assembly of Peoples of Bashkortostan, State Duma deputy Zugura Rakhmatullina participated in the celebrations, which took place in the Z. Validi National Library.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic and is held for the 20th time. The intense program of the Days of Polish Culture included a presentation of the "Bashkiria! My Land and the Sky!" collection of translated into Polish poems by Bashkortostan poets with illustrations of pupils of the Polish Sunday school named after A. Penkevich in Ufa, visiting a manor of the ancient Polish family in Mishkino district and laying flowers, a family festival "Bigos-Fest" in Ufa with master-classes for making decorative art objects, singing and dancing, tasting dishes of national cuisine.
On behalf of the Assembly of Peoples, Zugura Rahmatullina greeted the participants and guests of the event - public figures, teachers, parents, children, Sunday school students in colorful national costumes.
The pupils gave a great concert, in which the famous Ufa singer Sergei Krul and the "Green Forest" ensemble also took part.
The teacher from Bashkir State University, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Venera Ibragimova, who was awarded a medal of the Ministry of Public Education of Poland, congratulated participants on the holiday. The teacher gives classes at Sunday school.
Currently, about 600 poles live in Bashkortostan, the Center for Polish Culture and Education "Vozrozhdenie" successfully operates, whose chairman is Marina Sadykova-Lisovskaya, about 150 adults and children are taught at Sunday school in Ufa.
