Bashkir folk song was recorded by Norwegian and Polish musicians
UFA, 26 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. A Bashkir folk song was recorded by musicians from Norway and Poland. On March 22 in Ufa was a grand concert "Kurai with an Orchestra". It was attended by musicians from Europe Grzech Piotrowski (Czech Republic) and Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer (Norway).
The next day after the concert, they met at the "Cinemusic Ufa" studio and recorded a joint composition on the Bashkir folk song "We'll one apple share among five of us".
The following Ufa musicians took part in the recording: kurai player Azat Bikchurin, singer, and laureate of international competitions Yuliya Bakhtiyeva, composer Marat Fayzullin (gusli and metallophone). The invited guests recorded a saxophone performed by Grzech Piotrowski and the vocals of Ruth Wilhelmine Meyer.
"The Bashkir folk song appeared in a new, non-standard interpretation, which all participants enjoyed very much", Marat Fayzullin said. "Now the material is being prepared for release. It was also sent to the major sound producers of Russia and Europe to create new versions and remixes".
The joint work by Bashkir and European musicians will be published at the First Music Internet Publishing House of Bashkortostan "Afarin Records" at the beginning of summer.
