Big Band of Bashkir Philharmonic Society will perform at "Triumph Jazz" International Jazz Festival

The Big Band of the Bashkir State Philharmonic Society under the direction of Oleg Kasimov goes to the "Triumph of Jazz" International Jazz Festival. The team from Bashkortostan is the only regional jazz orchestra that performs at this prestigious forum.

The founder of the festival is the famous jazz musician Igor Butman. "Triumph of Jazz" will be held in Moscow for the eighth time on March 16-18.

Headliners of the festival are Bob James Trio (USA), Roy Hargrove Quintet (USA), Moscow Jazz Orchestra directed by Igor Butman and Tony Momrelle (Great Britain).

2018 - anniversary for the orchestra. This year the collective celebrates its creative 20th anniversary with the festival "EDO - the flagship of Bashkir jazz". Participation in the "Triumph of Jazz" is one of the stages of the jubilee events.
