Igor Moiseyev Dance Company will perform in Ufa with "Dances of the World" program

UFA, 13 March 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Igor Moiseyev Dance Company will give a performance in Ufa. The concert will be held at the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater on March 18.

In two parts of the Ufa concert the artists of the ensemble will perform famous dances of their program "Dances of the World Nations". In addition, a premiere of the choreographic composition - Adyg dance "Tlyapatet" will take place, the press service of the Ministry of Culture RB informs.

The world's first professional folk dance ensemble was created in 1937 by the legendary choreographer Igor Moiseyev. It was he who managed to realize the unique choreographic aesthetics: to combine the basics of classical ballet with folk dance, to bring it to professional art. The ensemble’s repertoire covers more than 200 dances of the peoples of the world. Today the company is called the brightest brand of the Russian culture, a symbol of high-professional choreographic art. The ensemble is directed by the student of Igor Moiseyev – the former leading soloist of the ensemble, People's Artist of Russia, laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation Elena Shcherbakova.
