Bashkir kurai conquered viewers of Yuri Bashmet Winter International Festival of Arts

UFA, 26 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The famous Bashkir kurai player Robert Yuldashev performed at one of the most significant events in the musical life of Russia - the 11th Winter Art Festival in Sochi. The art director of the festival is Yuri Bashmet.

The Winter Art Festival takes place on the Black Sea coast for the 11th year. It attracts world stars, numerous tourists, representatives of the media.

"Tendencies of the Russian and world culture development are formed here", the well-known musician and producer Bulat Aminov told Bashinform News Agency. "This year the event showed that the trends in the development of the world musical culture are increasingly tending to the roots, folk music and folk musical instruments. A new phenomenon is born in symbiosis with modern music, which became known as World Music".

Robert Yuldashev and his group "Kuraisy" are bright representatives of the World Music. They often represent Bashkortostan at the most significant world venues, promoting Bashkir music and the instrument of kurai.
