Film crew of "Russia Culture Bashkortostan" TV channel flew over Ural Mountains

UFA, 14 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency/. A unique air expedition - flight over the South Urals was performed for the first time in the history of aeronautics. The team of the project "Cultural Season. Traveling over Bashkiria" made a flight in a balloon, for which they had been preparing for a year. Aerostats flew over the territories of the Shulgan-Tash State Natural Biosphere Reserve and "Bashkiria" National Park.

The team started in the Shulgan-Tash Reserve and having covered about 50 km landed in Yumaguzino settlement. It was managed to fly over the territories of the Shulgan-Tash Reserve and Bashkir National Park at a maximum flight speed of 40 kilometers.

"We dedicated this flight to the preservation of the Bashkir bee and the forthcoming Apimondia International Congress, which will be held in the capital of Bashkiria in 2021. The difficulty of the flight was that we should fly at a relatively low altitude among the mountain ranges. The flight was possible only in winter: due to the descending air flows, balloon flights over the mountains are extremely dangerous in summer. During the flight we made hundreds of unique spectacular photos and video shooting that would be included in the "Cultural Season. Traveling over Bashkiria" program, said Aigul Kantukova, the head of the "Russia Culture Bashkortostan" TV channel.

The crew of the TV channel plans to make a flight from Europe to Asia.
