Fyodor Volkov Russian Academic Drama Theater comes to Ufa for first time

UFA, 5 February 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Fyodor Volkov Russian Academic Drama Theater (Yaroslavl) came to Ufa for the first time. From 14 to 18 February, the first Russian theater will present in Bashkortostan several popular performances: the classic comedy "The Forest" and "Tartuffe", the modern drama "Cruel Games", as well as two works by Eugene Marcelli, the art director of the theater - "Green Zone" and "Untitled".

The "Untitled" performance became the winner of the National Theater Award "Golden Mask" in 2013. The staging of Eugene Marcelli won in the main nomination "Drama. Best Large Performance" and Vitaly Kishchenko received the "Best Actor" award.

The theater's literary director, Elena Popova, said that in turn the Bashkir State Academic Russian Drama Theater would go to Yaroslavl, where on the stage of the first Russian theater would show the plays "Blue Cameo", "Mad Money", "Smile, Gentlemen! ", "Fathers and children" and "Snow Queen" from February 15 to 19.
