"Epiphany Frosts - 2018" Festival was opened in Bashkiria

UFA, 19 January 2018. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Birsk, the 24th Interregional festival-contest of pop songs and dance "Epiphany Frosts - 2018" was solemnly opened. This year representatives of 17 districts and 13 cities of our republic, Moscow, Samara and the Perm region take part in it. 43 applications have been submitted in the nomination "solo vocals", six applications in "vocal ensembles", the organizing committee of the festival reports.

At the opening ceremony of the festival participants and spectators were welcomed by the Deputy Director General of the National Center for Folk Art Nafisa Tulybaeva and Head of the Birsk District Administration Alexander Gruzdev.

On January 19, competitive auditions in the categories "Variety Dance" and "Pop Music" will be held.

Recall, that the "Epiphany Frosts" Festival has been taking place since January 1995. The event is held in order to identify and support young talented performers and creative teams. The organizers are the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republican Center for Folk Art, the administration of the municipal district of the Birsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
