Rustem Khamitov visited Ufa Music College

UFA, 6 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov within the framework of the Republican Culture Meeting visited the Second Special Music College, a professionally profiled educational institution, which celebrated its 45th anniversary this year.

The college was established in 1972 at Ufa State Institute of Arts on the initiative of its first rector, the famous Bashkir composer Zagir Ismagilov. Its main task is to prepare music-gifted children living in cities and rural areas of Bashkortostan, for further education at the university.

The head of the republic inspected classes of pianoforte, cello, chamber ensemble, music literature, music theory, computer science. The director of the college Minivaly Safin said that the equipment of the school was constantly updated, new instruments were acquired.

During the visit to the college, a videoconference took place with the Vladimir Spivakov’s Music School of Young Talents created at Salavat Musical College. Rustem Khamitov noted that working in a videoconference mode is a good option for conducting consultations, exchanging experience with other musical educational institutions.

Then the college students gave a small concert, after which the head of the republic talked with pupils and teachers, discussed the prospects for the development of the educational institution.
