Rustem Khamitov held republican meeting on culture

UFA, 6 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. Yesterday, in the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held the 3rd Republican Culture Meeting dedicated to the improvement of education in the sphere of culture.

The Head of the Region noted that Bashkortostan showed quite high indicators in the sphere of culture development.

“The republic is one of the ten most theatrical regions of the country, it is the best in the Volga Federal District in terms of philharmonic collectives activity organizing. The museum events are also arranged well, including their digitization activity,” said Rustem Khamitov. “We are the first in terms of number of libraries, clubs, cultural-leisure organizations, number of library users, visitors to events held by cultural institutions on a fee basis. But we should not rest on our laurels. Of course, we should move forward, look for modern forms of creative activity presentation, master new experimental genres, establish creative venues, and continue successful projects.”

Among the measures to be implemented, the Head of the Republic named creation of new training facilities, including on the principles of networking with general education schools and cultural institutions, introduction of training programs in the online format, widespread use of modern information technology. School clubs, various community centers and studios should be an important part of creative education.

“In general, strong material and technical resources, modern methods and forms of work, competent staff, effective management, reliance on the best experience are the key components of success in the development of the sphere of culture in our republic. Our current joint efforts will determine what kind of specialists will be employed by institutions of culture in a few years, the level of creative teams, what trends the art of Bashkortostan will follow in its development", Rustem Khamitov said.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Head of Bashkortostan presented the state awards to the best teachers of the republic for their great contribution to the creative development of young talents.
