Bashkir Ballet goes on European tour again

UFA, 29 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The tour of the ballet troupe of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater over the cities of Germany will take place from November 30 to December 29. Artists from Ufa will present Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballets “The Nutcracker” (choreography by Vasily Vainonen) and “Swan Lake” (choreography by Lev Ivanov and Konstantin Sergeev, staged by Leonora Kuvatova) in 29 cities.

The leading parts of the performances will be performed by the People's Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, laureate of the S. Yulaev’s State Prize RB Ildar Manyapov, Honored artists RB Valery Isaev, Rustam Iskhakov and Andrei Bryntsev, laureate of international competitions Liliya Zainigabdinova, Sofya Gavryushina, Ruslan Abulkhanov and Sergei Bikbulatov.

This will be the second tour of the ballet team in the 80th theater season. Thus, on September 15 and 17, ballet dancers and orchestra of the theater presented the ballets "Spartacus" by Aram Khachaturian and "Corsair" by Adolphe Adam in the production of Yuri Grigorovich at the 19th International Festival of Dance and Music in Bangkok.
