Famous opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky passed away

UFA, 22 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The famous opera singer Dmitri Hvorostovsky died in London today at 3.36, local time. This is reported by the relatives and friends of the singer, including by the representative of Ildar Abdrazakov.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky fought courageously with an incurable disease - brain cancer for two and a half years. Most recently, on October 16, he celebrated his 55th birthday. The last days of his life the singer spent surrounded by his relatives in a hospice, near his home in London, TASS reported.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky had a large number of fans in Bashkortostan, he repeatedly appeared in Ufa. One of the last such holidays of vocal art was a charity concert "Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Ildar Abdrazakov and Friends - for Children" in 2015.
