Bashkir dance ensemble "Altyn Ai" became laureate of "Dance Moscow" International Contest

UFA, 8 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Moscow ensemble of the Bashkir dance "Altyn Ai" became a laureate of the Moscow International Contest of Young Performers "Dance Moscow".

"Altyn Ai" presented two dances: "Gulnazira" and "Recollection". The student team successfully passed casting, in which about 80 professionals and amateurs took part, and reached the final. "Altyn Ai" received the 3rd degree laureate diploma in the nomination "Folk-Stage Dance".

The "Dance Moscow" International Contest is held for young performers of classical, folk-stage and modern choreography. At the final gala concert the participants were evaluated by the president of the competition Iosif Kobzon and other jury members - art directors of opera and ballet theaters, state academic choreographic groups, people's artists of the USSR and Russia, famous ballet critics.

"Bashkir dance will live forever, as long as there are such talented heirs of our people!", says the head of the ensemble Nazir Baizigitov.
