"Night of Arts" was visited by more than 20 thousand people in Bashkiria

UFA, 7 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Bashkortostan the "Night of the Arts-2017" campaign was summed up. According to the Ministry of Culture of the Republic, museums and libraries were visited by more than 20 thousand people. More than 400 events took place in museums and other cultural institutions. 23 state and 70 municipal museums took part in the campaign, as well as museums with municipal cultural and recreational facilities and the Interactive Museum of Entertaining Sciences "Intellectus".

The "Night of Arts -2017" was held under the motto "Art Unites". The campaign was held on three main topics. The first theme was "1917 and Bashkortostan". In 2017, the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Russian Revolution is celebrated. At the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, events were organized in all the museums of Russia in the "Night of the Arts" for this memorable date. The museums of the republic opened thematic exhibitions, held historical lectures and presented concerts of revolutionary songs.

The second theme was "Ecology and Museum" - in the framework of the Year of Ecology and Specially Protected Natural Territories, announced in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bashkortostan. Within the framework of this theme, the museums presented exhibitions, held cultural and educational events and thematic film screenings devoted to the protection of the nature of their native land.

The third theme was the National Unity Day. The "Night of Arts" campaign was timed to the Day of National Unity. This evening the museums held cultural and educational events and master classes for children and adults dedicated to the history of the holiday, the unity of Bashkortostan and Russia in history and modern times.
