Bashkir group "Zaman" from Moscow became participant of All-Russian musical TV show

UFA, 10 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Bashkir Moscow ethno-group "Zaman" participates in the Interregional Contemporary Song Contest in the genre of ethno-pop "Biir Kun" ("Under one sun") in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The musicians passed the qualifying round and in November they will go to Yakutsk to record a multi-series TV version of the contest and a gala concert. The award ceremony is scheduled for February 2018.
The contest is held by the State Variety Theater, the National Broadcasting Company "Sakha" with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Spiritual Development of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In addition to Bashkortostan, 11 regions of Russia participate in the contest. Among them there are the Altai Republic, Buryatia, Crimea, Tatarstan, Tyva, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Chukotka Autonomous District and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. The programs with the contest songs of the participants are broadcast by the regional TV channel five days a week for one month.
Performances of the contestants are evaluated by a competent jury, which includes professional musicians, music critics, popular authors and performers, producers, representatives of the Russian stage. The rating is also taken into account by SMS voting. The prize fund of the contest is 1.6 million rubles, the Grand Prix of the competition is a statuette, the winner's diploma and a cash prize of 500 thousand rubles.
