Bashkortostan Republic presentation took place at 21st Festival of Journalists "All Russia" in Dagomys

UFA, 26 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. A presentation of the Republic of Bashkortostan was held at the 21st Festival of Journalists "All Russia" in Dagomys.

Journalists were congratulated by the Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Russia Vsevolod Bogdanov. The presentation was made by the head of the Agency for Press and Mass Media RB Boris Melkoedov.

Within the framework of the presentation, the "Golden Kuray" international contest was announced, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the BASSR and the 100th anniversary of the republican national poet Mustai Karim. The project is planned to be implemented in 2017-2019. One of the purposes of the contest is to promote Bashkortostan in Russian and foreign media as a harmonious, dynamically developing region with centuries-old traditions of tolerance, which were key in the work of the people's poet.

A special 1000-copy issue of the "Ufa" magazine with presentation materials was published for the presentation. A photo exhibition and tasting of national dishes were organized, folk tunes were performed on the Bashkir kurai (Bashkir reed pipe) by Arthur Gaisarov.
