UK photographer will capture Bashkir nature beauty and Shulgan-Tash rock drawings

UFA, 19 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. In the second half of September, the famous photographer from the United Kingdom Robbie Shone will arrive in the Burzyan region of the republic at the invitation of the Research and Production Center for the Cultural Heritage Protection and Use in Bashkortostan. The purpose of his visit is to capture the beauty of nature, as well as the world-famous rock drawings of ancient people in Shulgan-Tash Cave. According to experts, the work of Robbie Shone will allow seeing the unique cave in a new perspective.
The Shulgan-Tash Cave every year attracts more attention to the world community. Scientists from France, Spain, Austria, Andorra, Hungary and other countries have been visiting Bashkortostan for the last four years to familiarize and study prehistoric rock art.
Robbie Shone specializes in filming exclusively cave objects and is the official photographer for the National Geographic television channel. His photographs were published in such publications as GEO, Intelligent Life, Stern and View. He received several national and international awards and is often invited speaker at different seminars or member of the jury. Robbie Shone made fascinating photo expeditions to the most remote regions of China, Papua New Guinea, Borneo, Venezuela, Mexico, Uzbekistan, Sudan, Vietnam, the Alps and Crete. He also worked closely with intelligence groups in California and documented the work of scientists in Portugal, Switzerland and Austria.
