Historic reenactors from Bashkiria performed at "Borodino Day-2017" Festival

UFA, 8 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Historic reenactors from Bashkortostan took part in the International Military History Festival "Borodino Day-2017". The event is dedicated to the 205th anniversary of the Battle of Borodino. Employees of the Republican Museum of Combat Glory, together with military-historical clubs of the Republic of Bashkortostan ("Ufa Infantry Regiment", "1st Bashkir Mounted Regiment "Lyubizar") left for the Mozhaisk region of the Moscow Region.

1,2 thousand people from Russia, Belarus, Germany, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and France were involved in the large-scale reenactment of the Borodino Day -2017. The program of the festival included memorial and solemn events at the main monument near the Rayevsky squadron and Napoleon command post in the village of Shevardino.

Museum specialists have studied the experience of international events. Contacts with the military-historical clubs-participants of the festival were established.

Participants of the festival visited the "Borodino Field" museum-reserve, monuments of the Battle of Borodino, a memorial to the First Bashkir Mounted Regiment.
