Golden Mask expert council will evaluate Ufa performances again

UFA, 6 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The expert council of the Russian theater prize "Golden Mask" will come again in Ufa. On October 5 the council members will review Bizet's "Pearl Seekers" opera, on October 15 - the "Carmen" opera. This was announced at the press breakfast on the eve of the jubilee 80th season by the General Director of the Bashkir Opera and Ballet Theater Ilmar Almukhametov.

The head of the theater said that the first, the premiere cast of the performance will be presented to the expert council - the artist of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Musical Theater Larisa Andreeva will arrive in Ufa for the performance of the lead part.

Recall, that the "Pearl Seekers" opera was staged by the chief conductor of the Bashkir Theater, the newly-made laureate of the Golden Mask Artem Makarov, the director of the Rostov State Music Theater Pavel Sorokin, the stage designer - Ernst Heidebrecht (Germany), choirmaster -director - the main choirmaster of the Bashkir Opera Alexander Alekseyev, choreographer - Alexei Ischuk (Moscow). The premiere took place in Ufa on June 22 in the closing evening of the season.

The premiere of the "Carmen" opera was exactly one year ago. The musical director - Artem Makarov, the director Dmitry Belyanushkin from Moscow, artist Alexander Arefiev, costume designer Maria Chernyshova.

The main conductor of the theater, the conductor of the "Hercules" opera by Handel, Artem Makarov and the young soloist, the performer of the Iola part in the "Hercules" opera Dilyara Idrisov became laureates of the Golden Mask in 2016.
