"Music of the World" festival in St. Petersburg will be opened by Bashkir "Yatagan" ethno group

UFA, 2 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The second day of the "Music of the World" festival in St. Petersburg will be opened by the Bashkir "Yatagan" ethno group. The team will perform in the nomination "Ethno-electro". This was reported by the press service of the executive committee of Kurultay of Bashkirs with reference to the deputy chairman of the St. Petersburg Kurultay Lyutsiya Bukanova.

The International Ethnic Festival "Music of the World" will be held on August 12-13. It will be attended by representatives of different regions of Russia (Karelia, Buryatia) and abroad - Kazakhstan, France. The holiday will take place in the centre of St. Petersburg, in the Sheremetev Palace, where the Museum of Music is now located.

The Festival was established by the St. Petersburg State Museum of Theatre and Music in 2016. The idea of the festival is preservation of national traditions and at the same time the desire to speak with the audience in modern musical language. The headliners of the "Music of the World" festival are famous internationally recognized musicians.
