Ufa native Aigul Akhmetshina repeated Cinderella’s story in France

UFA, 1 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Ufa native Aigul Akhmetshina made her debut in the lead part in Rossini's opera "Cinderella" at the music festival in France. According to the 21-year-old singer, the Cinderella's story is very symbolic for her. It was Cinderella's aria that recently handed her a victory at the "Belvedere" contest and it was this part that became her glory hour.

The "Opera De Bauge" festival is a jubilee this year, it marks its 15th season. The founders of the festival are John and Bernadette Grimmett. The first festival was held in 2003. At the beginning of the festival, young singers were invited. Now it is possible to invite both experienced and famous singers, as well as the younger generation. The annual number of spectators is three thousand people. The production director was Bernadette Grimmett, conducted by Konstantinos Diminakis, the head of the Vienna Orchestra "Orpheus Kammerorchester Wien".
