Bashkiria residents are invited to take part in International "Russian Civilization" Photo Contest

UFA, 25 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. Last week the First International Photo Competition "Russian Civilization" started, which is held by the Federal Agency for Nationalities.

As reported by the organizing committee of the competition, the works are accepted until September 2, 2017. Both professional photographers and amateurs over the age of 18 years can apply. The artist-designer and writer Yekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, actress Irina Bezrukova, the popular TV host and traveler Mikhail Kozhukhov, photographer Anton Lange, the host of the program "Russia, My Love!" on the TV channel "Culture" Pierre Brochet and other famous photographers, journalists, artists and public figures will estimate the skills of participants.

"Russian civilization is interweaving of cultures of multinational people, speaking and thinking in the Russian language. This is a unique phenomenon of a global scale, reflected and shared through your skills", the head of the Federal Agency for Nationalities Affairs, the chairman of the photo contest jury Igor Barinov said addressing to all potential participants.

The winners will be determined based on the results of the jury and popular vote. The awarding ceremony will be held in Moscow in late September 2017.
