"Today we have opened only one pavilion of a large complex. It will be an introductory pavilion of the museum of nomadic civilization named after Kurmanjan Datka. A concept is emerging that at the end of August or in the beginning of September we will start a construction of the "Kyrgyz Nomad" pavilion, " said the President of Kyrgyzstan, adding that representatives of a number of countries and regions of Russia already expressed an interest in creating their pavilions in the museum territory. After the opening ceremony, Rustem Khamitov and Almazbek Atambayev got acquainted with the exposition "The Altai Nomad", where the best exhibits and installations of a number of museums of the country were collected. It tells about the history and cultural ties of the Altai peoples including about 500 exhibits from the Renaissance to modern artifacts.
In addition to the exposition, there is a live museum in the territory of the centre in the form of a nomad of 30 yurts to demonstrate the way of life of the Altai peoples in the national nomadic traditions. Thus, at the yurt, dedicated to the life of Bashkirs, Rustem Khamitov and Almazbek Atambayev were greeted with the folk song "Azamat" performed by representatives of the Bashkir diaspora.
