International archery competitions will be held in Bashkiria

UFA, 10 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. The International Festival of Archery "Mergen Uksy" will be held near the village of Gadelshino Uchaly region of Bashkortostan on July 13-16. The organizers promise several spectacular events: international and republican archery tournaments, horse-riding archery and "Ai Uralym" ethnic festival.

The competition will bring together the best archers from Bashkortostan, Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Omsk, Orenburg regions, as well as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Republic of Belarus.

The festival will be held open air in an ethnic style on the site of the ancient settlement of Bagishay. All participants with personify the soldiers of different eras and peoples.

In addition to the main stages of the competition, master classes on archery and riding skills, hiking trails, a fair of artisans will be organized. After a busy day program, bright evening shows and concerts are expected.

Simultaneously with archery tournaments the ethnic festival "Ai Uralym" will take place nearby, within the framework of which competitions of ethnic collectives, costume manufacturers will be held.

The festival is designed to popularize event tourism in the republic.
