"The River of Time" Historical Reconstruction Festival will bring together knights and archers in Bashkiria

UFA, 27 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Bashkortostan, the second Historical Reconstruction Festival "The River of Time" will take place. The large-scale event will unfold on June 30 - July 1 in a spacious glade on the banks of the Belaya River, near the village of Silantievo not far from the city of Birsk.

The battle life of various epochs will be represented at the festival: the 13th-century Russians, the 14th-century knights, Muscovite musketry with servicemen of the 17th century, Russian soldiers of the Patriotic War of 1812, World War I and World War II.

Within the framework of the festival the interactive sites of military camps, a historical fair, interactive areas of faculties, master classes will be organized. There will be competitions and contests. A review competition for the best military camp will be held among the participants of the festival. Also, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Small Town of Russia: History and Modernity" will be held.

The founders of the festival are Bashkir State University, the Birsk branch of Bashkir State University. The organizer of the festival is the Military History Club "Birsky Streltsy" of the Birsk branch Bashkir State University.
