Yatagan group album will be released on vinyl due to Deep Forest leader Eric Mouquet

UFA, 20 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Thanks to the leader of the cult group "Deep Forest" Eric Mouquet, the Bashkir group "Yatagan" decided to release their album on vinyl. The famous musician advised his young colleagues exactly this format. This was told by the leader of the "Yatagan" ethno-group Ildar Shakir.

During his visit to Ufa, Eric Mouquet gathered in one studio the leading ethnic musicians of Bashkortostan. Representatives of ethno-groups "Kuraysy", "Argymak", "Yatagan", "Zaman", "Saptar", "Zainetdin" gathered in the studio of Robert Yuldashev for a jam session.

Ildar Shakir also said that the guest was gladly surprised by Bashkir hospitality, unusual sound of ethnic music, national cuisine. He was interested in Bashkir customs, throat singing.

"In the process of our communication and playing music, an idea appeared to create a joint composition, which will include fragments of music by Bashkir ethno groups", Ildar said.

Eric Mouquet is a world-famous musician, one of the founders of the world music style. He came to the International Arts Festival "The Heart of Eurasia" in our republic. In the framework of the Ethnic Night he performed together with the musicians of the "Argymak" group, after which he took part in the Resort Sabantuy in Abzelilovo district.
