Resort Sabantuy in Bashkiria featured national brands - kuresh, bishbarmak and kubair

UFA, 19 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Bashkortostan, a Resort Sabantuy took place near Yakty-Kul Lake (Bannoe). Not only residents of surrounding villages and holiday resorts gathered at an annual event at the foot of Mount Kirkty, but also the guests from different regions of Russia - Moscow, Orenburg, Yekaterinburg, Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk region. Among them there were experts in the field of domestic tourism, journalists and bloggers. The participants and guests of the holiday were greeted by the Deputy Prime Minister of RB Salavat Sagitov.

The main venue hosted a spectacular Ethno-village made from yurts of the Abzelilovo and Uchaly districts. The key events were sports competitions in kuresh wrestling for the title "Yakty-Kul Batyr ", traditional archery, parachuting.

In the afternoon, the visitors saw a joint program of the popular song contest "Bashkort Yury" and Uchaly Philharmonic Society. In the evening, the "Uralym" Contemporary Ethnic Music Festival was held with participation of the ethno-bands "Orlan", "Argymak", "Zaman", "Yatagan", "Haiya", "Katya Yamschikova Project".

Among the guests of the Resort Sabantuy there was also the leader of the famous Deep Forest group Eric Mouquet.

At the national yards exhibition it was possible to take a photo against the background of an ethnic felt carpet, try on old Bashkir jewelry, taste Bashkir dishes - bishbarmak, talkan, kumis, buza, chak-chak. Masters of folk and art craft organized a fair-sale of their products and held master classes for the guests of the holiday.

A Museum Town was installed near the stage. The exposition featured the history of the Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, which celebrates its 85th anniversary this year.

Also, within the framework of the event, a round table was held on the development of the tourist and recreational potential of the region.

The holiday ended with a colourful fire-show, disco and fireworks.
