"Russia is My History" Historic Park opened in Ufa

UFA, 13 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. In honour of the Day of Russia in Ufa, a grand opening of the "Russia is My History" Historic Park located at the "VDNKH-Expo" exhibition complex took place. Bashkortostan became the first region after the capital, where such large-scale multimedia museum is deployed.
The Plenipotentiary Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District (PFD) Mikhail Babich, the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the vicar of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Bishop Tikhon of Yegorievsk, Metropolitan Nikon of Ufa and Sterlitamak, the Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, Supreme Mufti, Sheikh-ul-Islam Talgat Tajuddin and the People's Artist of the USSR Gyulli Mubaryakova congratulated residents of our republic on the Day of Russia and this significant event.
The Plenipotentiary Envoy read out a greeting of the Head of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Anton Vaino, which said that "advanced information multimedia technology will allow visitors to take a fresh look at our country's rich historical, heroic, cultural heritage, to connect our spiritual origins, to feel personal belonging to the destiny of our Fatherland".
"Today we are opening a wonderful multimedia exhibition - "Russia is my History" Historic Park. This is a very significant event," stressed Rustem Khamitov.
Representatives of about 20 regions of the country came at the park’s opening to study the experience of Bashkortostan and to use it while subsequent expansion of the project geography.
The historic park includes about 500 units of multimedia equipment located at an area of more than seven thousand square meters and gives a panoramic view of more than 1000-year history of our country using state-of-the-art technology.
There are four expositions at the exhibition: "Rurik dynasty", "Romanovs", "1914-1945: From the Great Shocks to the Great Victory" and "From Victory in the Great Patriotic War to 2017".
The Ufa exhibition shows how the history of Russia is closely intertwined with the history of Bashkortostan. Video projection collages tell about the centuries-old past of the Bashkir people. You can see the latest 3D reconstruction of the Ufa Kremlin, a multimedia book about the natural resources of the Bashkir region. Multimedia carriers dedicated to the multi-confessional history of the region take a significant place there.
The regional stage of the project was implemented with the support of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and PJSC Gazprom.
