Folkloriada will be held at highest level in Bashkortostan - Rustem Khamitov

UFA, 7 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited a photo exhibition dedicated to the World Folkloriada 2016 in Mexico.

The exposition presents photographs taken at various venues of the international folklore festival and representing creative teams of the countries of the world. Particular attention was paid to the participation of our republican creative delegation in Folkloriada.

The exhibition, organized with the help of the grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, is held in the National Museum RB within the framework of the international campaign "Nature. Human. Culture".

"We will soon form a republican organizing committee. Also in the near future there will be a federal organizing committee, headed by either the Minister of Culture or the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation. Strictly speaking, we are starting to prepare for the Folkloriada -2020", Rustem Khamitov said.

The Head of the Region noted that at least 3,000 people would come to the republic in the days of the Folkloriada -2020, and these would be just participants of creative delegations.

"We understand that there will be a big tourist flow. This Folkloriada will be well promoted. And, of course, we want all municipalities and cities of our republic to welcome guests, to conduct appropriate modernization works in their recreation centres, outdoor venues", said Rustem Khamitov.

The program of the festival, according to the Head of the Republic, will include not only folk art, but also crafts, national cuisine, other types of traditional culture. "Everything will be done at the highest level, there's no doubt about it", stressed Rustem Khamitov.

Recall that on June 1, the Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a Decree on holding the 6th World Folkloriada in Bashkortostan.
