Verses by Bashkir comic writer Marsel Salimov are published in "Literary Eurasia" anthology

The 7th Congress of the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia and the First Congress of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia took place in Moscow. As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, the delegation of Bashkortostan took an active part in the work of the congresses.

On the eve of this important international forum, the Maxim Burdin’d Publishing House in Kostroma published a "Literary Eurasia" anthology with a circulation of 1,000 copies. This collection includes satirical and humorous poems by Marsel Salimov written by him in recent years and translated into Russian by famous Moscow poets Nikolai Pereyaslov and Ivan Tertychny.

The participant of the 1st Congress of the Assembly of Peoples of Eurasia, famous Bashkir writer, journalist and public figure Marsel Salimov delivered a speech at the forum of journalists and bloggers of Eurasia and at the round table "Writer - Translator - Book". He told his colleagues about the cultural and literary events organized in Bashkortostan with the aim of strengthening the friendship of the peoples, shared the experience gained during the international competitions in translation of the Turkic-speaking poetry "Ak Torna" ("White Crane") in Ufa.

In the days of the congresses of the Assembly of Peoples in Moscow, the 2nd All-Russian Literary Festival of Festivals "LIFFT-2017" was held. A successful performance of the Bashkortostan delegation pleased the audience and participants of the festival. Marsel Salimov awarded with the diploma "For Creative Interaction and Public Stance In Literature" in his speech noted that a creative team of the chairman of the Writers and Readers Union, the chairman of the "LIFFT-2017" Margarita Al had done a great job to make that literary event truly a Festival of Festivals. He expressed his hope that in the future Bashkortostan would also host the participants of this festival.
