Rustem Khamitov told Bashinform Agency reporter about new projects on Ufa Museum Night

UFA, 22 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The annual "Night of Museums" International Campaign was held in Ufa. Rustem Khamitov also traditionally took part in this event. The reporter of the Bashinform News Agency Leila Aralbaeva interviewed the Head of the Republic.
"On June 12 at VDNKh exposition centre we will open a new museum of the Russian history. Everything will be presented in a modern interactive format: 3D installations, screens," the Head of the Republic said. "Work on formation of the museum space is carried out simultaneously in 25 cities of Russia, and we are the first in the Russian Federation to open it. All other cities with a million population will open them in late 2017 - early 2018".
Rustem Khamitov noted that the republic needed a large museum of modern art.
"We are working on it. We want to have a permanent museum of contemporary art in the territory of VDNKh in two years. And I hope that it will be in demand," said the Head of the Region. "In general, once every two years such a wonderful event as "Art-Ufa" takes place in order to fill in vacant niches. This year this exhibition will start in June, most of our artists will be represented, and not only artists, but also sculptors".
As one of the interesting projects to be implemented in the future, Rustem Khamitov named the Shulgan-Tash cave museum.
"This will be a completely new type of museum, very sought-after and, I hope, interesting. There will be presented a model of the Kapova Cave and copies of drawings - this will protect the cave itself from tourist invasion. I think a couple of years will pass until we open this new museum. This requires about 500-700 million rubles, but this work needs to be done", the Head of the Republic marked.
Rustem Khamitov also told how he sees the future museum of the national poet of Bashkortostan Mustai Karim.
