Yuri Shevchuk is not going to retire

UFA, 16 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. Today, on May 16, the legendary rock musician, the leader of the DDT band Yuri Shevchuk celebrates his 60th birthday. In Russia, 60 years is an age of old-age retirement for men in Russia according to the law. However, as it turned out, the musician does not even think about his pension.
On his birthday, Yuri is going to work, according to Komsomolskaya Pravda-Ufa.
"We will make a new album, look for a new sound. I have got enough of the old one - and I am happy with it, it means that something else lies ahead. I do not want to turn into an old man. I'm not nostalgic; I listen to the modern music. Young guys play now in DDT, they play just fantastically, much better than we did in the 80-90s. And it is interesting to play with them: they can transform any idea into a sound, and I am responsible for words", the newspaper quotes Shevchuk.
On the eve of his anniversary, the rocker spent a week in Ufa and received a national hat as a gift.
