"Heart of Eurasia" will feature two Symphonic Nights and one Ethnic Night

UFA, 15 May 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Ufa will host again the International Festival of Arts "The Heart of Eurasia". On June 12, the "Heart of Eurasia" will be opened with a gala concert of the International Festival of National Cultures "Berzemlek-Sodruzhestvo". This project is one of the six international festivals in Russia, traditionally held under the auspices of the International Council of Folklore Festivals and Traditional Arts Organizations (CIOFF). Performers from China, Estonia, South Korea, Serbia, India, South Africa and Sri Lanka will give a concert in front of VDNKh Expo.

The intensive program will last until June 16, the main events will be held in the Ufa Amphitheatre. On June 13, the National Symphony Orchestra RB (art director Raushan Yakupov) will gather Ufa residents for a Symphonic Night.

On June 14, two projects are picking up the festival's baton. At 18.30 a concert of the folk song and dance ensemble "Miras" starts in Ufa. At 20.00 the festival will be continue by "UFA-Kuraifest". The audience will see performances of the National Orchestra of Folk Instruments RB under the leadership of Linar Davletbaev, the kurai players Azat Bikchurin, Robert Yuldashev and the Kuraisy band, the Zaibetdin project, the Yatagan ethno band, the Moscow band Zaman. Within the framework of "UFA-Kuraifest" a group of kurai players consisting of 200 people will appear on the stage of the Ufa amphitheatre.

On June 15 at 20.00 viewers are invited to the Symphonic Night-2. Together with the Youth Symphony Orchestra RB (led by Linar Davletbaev) singers Ilgam Valiev, Gulnara Valeeva, Radmir Khasanov, Regina Zvyagintseva, cellists Ayaz Nukhov and Rustem Khamidullin will perform on the stage.

The International Arts Festival "Heart of Eurasia" will finish on June 16. A republican festival of the national costume of the peoples of Bashkortostan starts on the square in front of the Bashkir Academic Drama Theatre at 17.00.

The final chord of the international holiday will be an "Ethnic Night". The headliner of the project will be the Moscow band "Ivan Kupala". Besides some other famous Russian and foreign bands will perform there: Khartyga (Republic of Tyva), Trad Attack (Estonia), virtuoso instrumentalists Nazbek Kenchinbayev, Nurayym Azikbayeva (Kyrgyzstan), folk project Katya Yamshchikova, ethno-rock band Argymak.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Bashkortostan with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
