Bashkir delegation returned from 16th Youth Delphic Games of Russia with victory

UFA, 24 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The delegation of the republic returned from the 16th Youth Delphic Games of Russia and the 12th Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member states with a victory. This is reported by the portal "Cultural World of Bashkortostan".

Almas Khusainov from the Sibay College of Arts (solo folk singing) and Daria Popova from the Ufa Art College (fine arts) won gold medals. Daria Popova also received a bronze medal of the 12th Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member states.

The silver medal was won by Amir Zhalimov from the Secondary Special Music College (balalaika). Pianist Daria Guzeeva from the same college, Iskandar Anvarov from the R. Nureyev Bashkir Choreographic College (classical dance) became diploma winners. Saxophonist Rafael Petrov from the G.Almuhametov Republican Gymnasium was awarded a diploma for artistry.

The republican delegation consisted of 18 people.

The Games were held from April 18 to 23 in Yekaterinburg within the framework of the "Delphic Games-2017" cultural project. They involved 2318 young people aged 10 to 25 years from 76 subjects of the Russian Federation and eight CIS countries. The competitions were held in 31 nominations of classical, folk and contemporary art. 100 prominent artists of Russia and the CIS were among the jury formed for each nomination.
