"Epics of the Peoples of the World" festival will be held in Bashkiria

UFA, 11 April 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Bashkortostan for the first time a zone festival "Epics of the Peoples of the World" with participation of UNESCO Associated Schools and UNESCO Friends Clubs of the republic will be held. It will take place on April 14 in Zilair district at Bashkir grammar school in Zilair village at the address: 603680, Zilair district, Zilair village, Lenin Street, 60. Beginning is at 10.00.

The event will be attended by representatives of education departments and educational institutions of eight cities and regions of the Trans-Urals. The aim of the festival is to expand cooperation of Trans-Urals educational institutions in the implementation of UNESCO projects and programs in the Republic of Bashkortostan in the areas of preserving the cultural heritage of the Bashkir people, the peoples of Russia and the world. At present, more than 200 applications of students of educational institutions of the districts and cities of the Bashkir Trans-Ural region have been submitted, the press service of the Republican Committee for UNESCO informs.

Within the framework of the festival a round table will be held on the topics: "Participation of educational institutions of districts and cities of Trans-Urals in UNESCO projects and programs" and "Experience of the UNESCO Associated Schools and Friends of UNESCO Clubs of the Republic of Bashkortostan in cooperation development with UNESCO". The round table will include participation of the leadership of the regional Committee for UNESCO Affairs, representatives of the leading UNESCO Associated Schools and UNESCO Friends Clubs, UNESCO Chairs and the Education Departments of the districts and cities of the Trans-Urals.
